Above are definitions of two everyday words that you probably give little to no thought to every time you hear them. What do they mean to you? How do you relate to them? More importantly, how can they relate your business. Without further ado let me introduce you to “Human Technology” from RCN Technologies.
Human Technology, you are going to hear that phrase a lot in this blog post and you may be asking yourself why. The answer to that is simple, it is because that is who RCN Technologies is and it is what we do, down to every fiber of our being as a Managed Service Company. Allow me to break down the “Human” aspect of this phrase, because being human is the foundation after all.
To be is human is to build relationships, to learn, grow, and elevate those around you and I can guarantee there is not a company out there that does it just like RCN. The culture here at RCN is one of its own plain and simple. We are not just coworkers here, we are a family where we all care for one another, whether it is through high praise or tough love. Now you may be thinking that it is great and all for us who work here at RCN, but what about us, your clients? The great news is that our sense of humanity does not stay within the company, it extends out to you. We strive to be the trusted ally you call when the proverbial poo has hit the fan. We want to know how we can alleviate the everyday pain points you wrestle within your company as well as hear about the wonderful time you had with your family over the weekend. We are the company you come home to, not the one you take for a test drive, and if you do a test drive us all I can say is welcome home.
Welcome home? Welcome home to what? Well if you have made it this far then hopefully I have conveyed the “Human” portion of “Human Technology” to you in the proper light! I think it goes without saying that the second portion of this statement is the technology aspect. To be completely honest the technology side is the afterthought but needs to be discussed anyhow. Part of RCN’s dedication to relationships with our clients is to absolutely vet and best-fit solutions for each unique use case we may come across. We go as far as if we cannot provide the solution we can help you find someone who can. Technology to us is so much more than just reselling a product or providing a solution, we are the ally who takes the burden off your back and places it onto our own. We hold that belief to be true whether you are a strong standing Mom and Pop shop or multimillion-dollar enterprise, we will have your back.
In the end I guess it comes down to this; RCN is going to take care of you when you don’t need us and when you do no matter what. That means weather we have provided you with a single failover unit, or a fully tailored managed service agreement, we are dedicated to the anthem of “Human Technology”. Yes we will be the ally you need for technological services, but we are going to make you a part of the RCN Family while we do it. Earlier in this short blog I mentioned that we are the company you come home to, so welcome home. Human Technology is not about technology operated by humans, but rather the connections we make around technology.
